History
XMi Association Management has emerged in 2006 from its original roots as The Walker Management Group (founded in 1987) and founded by Dee Ann Walker in 1987, the Walker Management Group was based on her significant experience managing the activities of a major association, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA). After forming an association management company, Ms. Walker soon added a number of veterinary, human heath and trade associations/societies. In 2000, Walker Management Group was acquired by and is now a division of XMi Management Inc., a diversified management company. With over 25 years of association management experience, Ms. Walker retired from the firm in Ocotber 2006 where Joyce Friedman took over management leadership as President.
